The service
Chartlapse helps you turn time-varying data into still or animated visual stories. The public beta web app, Creator, and examples are provided as-is during development.

Your data and content
You are responsible for the Excel files, prompts, and Project Documents you create. Do not upload or describe data you are not allowed to process. Chartlapse’s default design keeps workbooks in the browser; you remain responsible for what you download, share, or later publish.
An optional account can use the active Sites-managed fallback or direct Google or email-code sign-in. Signing in enables owner-scoped cloud Project Documents; you may continue using Creator anonymously without cloud saving.
Accuracy and AI
Visualizations and plans can be wrong. Always verify numbers against your source. AI suggestions are assistive only; validation and compilation rules may reject or rewrite unsafe plans. Chartlapse is not a substitute for professional analysis, legal, or financial advice.
Examples and public assets
Built-in examples (for example population and market-map demos) use third-party and public datasets. Licenses and provenance are described on the Attribution page and in project notes. Example content is not your private data.
Availability and changes
Features may change, break, or be removed without notice during pre-release. Paid plans, if introduced later, will not erase existing projects solely because of a billing change; new creation limits may still apply under separate product policy.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to abuse AI endpoints, probe other users’ data, reverse operational secrets, or use the service to violate law. Rate limits and request size limits may apply to protect the service.
Governing law (draft)
Until a counsel-reviewed public terms package is published, these draft terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Courts in Seoul, Republic of Korea, are the preferred venue for disputes arising from public beta use. This clause is a product draft only and is not legal advice.
